
Google is the most popular search engine in internet. When People try to find something they will ask Google.But, there are so many hidden features in Google that not everyone knows. One feature that may be useful for you is “ext:” syntax. What is it?
Ext short word for extension. For example, you want to search e-book in internet about Blog tutorial, if you just search “Blog tutorial” in Google’s search, you would get so many result. What if you try to find blogs tutorial but in the pdf format? How can you do that? The answer just tries using “ext:” syntax.
Let look back at the example above when we try to find blogs tutorial we use “blog tutorial” keyword.
If you just want the result in the pdf format then you can download it without go to the website result just change the keyword to “Blog tutorial ext:pdf”, let see the different below.

when you use ”ext:pdf” , you get all result in a pdf format, just right click the link result and save to your computer. It very easy and effective.
By the way, you can search another document format with ext syntax. For example, you want to search “blog tutorial” in MS Word format just change the keyword to “Blog tutorial ext:doc”.
Beside PDF and doc format, Google support so many formats like ppt(PowerPoint), xls(excel), rtf, txt and other popular document format. You can experiment with ext format.
